MWIR LEDs available in 3100nm, 3700nm, 3900nm, 4100nm, and 4300nm peak wavelengths
Optrans Corporation is pleased to announce the release of its new SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) LED product line, the LSF Series, covering wavelengths from 1200 nm to 1650 nm. The lineup includes the following five models:
All models deliver emission in the 1200–1650 nm range with an output power approximately 1.5 times higher than our previous generation products.
Original version 1300nm – 11mW @ 50mA Typical
New version 1300nm – 16.6mW @ 50mA Typical
Available at 1200 nm, 1300 nm, 1460 nm, 1550 nm, and 1650 nm, allowing users to select the optimal wavelength for their specific application.
Achieves approximately 1.5x higher output compared to conventional products, enabling clearer detection and measurement.
Achieves approximately 1.5x higher output compared to conventional products, enabling clearer detection and measurement.
Detecting defects in silicon wafers, material inspection, and identifying contaminants invisible under visible light.
Measuring moisture and sugar content, quality control, and produce sorting using absorption properties of organic matter in the SWIR range.
Non-invasive, non-contact sample analysis, tissue observation, and biomedical imaging. SWIR LEDs are gaining attention as low-burden diagnostic light sources.
Detecting water or ice on roads, imaging through fog or smoke, and night-time surveillance applications.
Component analysis, optical transmission/reflection measurement, hyperspectral and multispectral imaging illumination.
With the LSF Series, we aim to deliver precision and reliability to industrial inspection, medical applications, and environmental monitoring where visible and near-infrared light have reached their limits. Optrans is committed to providing optimal solutions, including custom implementations, tailored to customer needs.
