Optrans offers advanced monolithic quadrant photodiodes (QPDs) consisting of 2×2 photodiode element arrays. Our quadrants are available in silicon and 1.7μm InGaAs materials, as well as assembled quadrant photodiodes in 2.67μm InGaAs. Silicon carbide QPDs can be fabricated on a custom basis. Optrans quad detectors are optimized for performance in various demanding applications through additional surface treatments and custom packaging.
Optrans quad photodiodes provide low dark current, high resolution, superior accuracy, high signal-to-noise ratio, broad spectral sensitivity, and impressive frequency bandwidth. They deliver excellent dynamic range, minimal spacing between elements, low operating voltages, high shunt resistance, and expansive active areas. Additionally, Optrans manufactures custom SiC, silicon, and InGaAs linear arrays, which are ideal for atomic force microscopes, spectrometers, beam nulling/centering, free space optical receivers, and triangulation-based position sensing applications.
